Carol Moxam, CEO & Founder of Special Event Boot Camp experienced her education in events management by working in the field for over two decades, learning in the classroom in academic schools programs, and also at local and international trade shows.The concept of Special Event Boot Camp was inspired by her own personal learning in special events as well with “Masters” in the industry in an ;informal classroom. It was here she met industry experts in hotel lobby lounges following the seminars at international conferences.

The casualness of the environment, the relaxed resulted in the most valuable lessons contributing to the success in her event business and also established life-long relationships contributing to her business success. The concept for Boot Camp evolved as a way to deliver this style of learning and sharing trade skills outside of the classroom.This is reason our event architecture at Boot Camp is designed as a lounge. This comfort relaxes our guests, encourages discussion amongst our guests and leaders, and reflects elements used in event planning today.
