The Dance Company was created in 2001 by, Vanessa Engel.  Drawing from her education in business management and experience as a professional dancer, Vanessa opened The Dance Company. She jumped “feet-first” into the competitive special event industry. 

After a lot of hard work The Dance Company became recognized as a reputable company and started to grow rapidly.  The Dance Company is known across Canada for its exceptional service and great entertainment. Some of The Dance Company’s recent accomplishments include being awarded the Entertainer of the Year by the Canadian Special Event Industry, opening a new division “The People Company” and booking over 150 events each fiscal year.
